.desktop problem

Hello everyone.

I've got a problem with my .desktop files.
I use them to create shortcuts.
I've got quite a few on my Desktop
And now suddenly they won open anymore.
Instead they give me an error.
Anyone familiar with this problem?
Does any one have a solution?
