All I did was type in su login and cd to the directory of firestarter /etc/firestarter
And then the window popped up and I ran the firewall configuration. Do you know how I fix my other problem though? On my windows pc I set it up as a computer on a network, so it's fine. It's just my linux computer that's doing this. I thought it might be because it wasn't activated in network config, but I can't even activate it in there. Instead I get this:
Determining IP information for eth0...Internal network device eth0 is not ready. Aborting..
I have no idea what to do, please help this is urgent.
I get this message in firestarter and the NetworkConfiguration utility.
I want my computer to get internet access from my wireless card (eth1) and share it with my windows xp computer (eth0)
My ethernet port is connected from my computer to the windows computer.
