Question Dell Poweredge 1950, megaraid_sas

Does Fedora 7 or Fedora Core 6 work on a Dell Poweredge 1950 with SAS disks on a Perc5/i controller? I'm looking at buying this sort of machine to run a Linux based firewall (and I need it as reliable as possible).

Has anyone done the two latest Fedora Distro's on a PE1950? I see some of the threads refer to FC4 running on this machine with some hassle, but working in the end.

Where can one find the megaraid_sas driver? Is it included in the kernel already?

Yes. I am currently running 2 Power Edge 1950's on Ubuntu, and it has been flawless thus far. ; )

Also in my dealings with deal (as my installation was a little less then perfect), they have pushed for the Red Hat distro's and as such I would imagine that a quick reference to their site should get you up and running with minimal hassle. : )

GL.
