Which driver exactly? From http://fedoramobile.org/wireless it appears that chipset takes a bit of setup.

Hello leodourado

Welcome to the Forum.

I've set up my 3945ABG using a howto on these forums by Strikeforce. That involves me in doing part of the howto each time the kernel changes, but its been very successful for me.

I'll post the link to that if necessary, but Strikeforce has created a new howto as precompiled modules for this card have become available at the freshrpms repository.

The new howto is here:

http://www.fedoraguide.info/index.ph...#Intel_IPW3945

Note there are two steps to go through. Enabling the repository and then setting up the network.

Post back if you have any problems - or to report success.

Hi,

IMHO - 3945 and some of the other intel wireless technologies have some of the better support under linux.

Here is my "How I Did it" for my 3945 card:

http://mysite.verizon.net/vze2j8bn/D....html#Wireless

NOTE it is based on the aforementioned link -- which is a pretty good howto. Also, if you poke around (on that page), you'll find how I did 3945 under FC5 and FC6 too. Although this FC5/6 stuff can be done under F7 - not really needed (since F7 does have some built in support - via iwl3945 -- for 3945 hardware) -- but you can learn a bit - buy reading some of the stuff I did...

HTH.
