I found that there is no sound at my computer after kernel 2.6-22 update. Previously sometimes there was the same problem but reboot helps to resolve it. Today I tried to reboot many time and see that system doesn't see my sound card. In menu at "check-soundcard" it shows that there is soundcard bat when I click play sound nothing happens ,just message pops up "Did you hear sound, Yes,Not". Of course I don't hear any sound My motherboard is http://www.asus.com/products.aspx?l1...44&modelmenu=2
How to fix the problem?

I have the same problem with my notebook.
It has SigmaTel STAC9228X5T AC’97 sound card.
