F7 - Hangs after "Uncompressing Linux... Done"

Dell Inspiron 6400 Laptop with Serial ATA HDD

Known issue.

I refuse to use a workaround.

I want to know when an updated .iso will be available that solves this problem.

If you are going to refuse to use workarounds in Linux you are going to be pretty much SOL.

LOL

Well instead you can extract the iso onto your harddisk then make the necessary "workarounds" then reimage it, will that work for you?

The workaround will reduce the functionality of ACPI.

Bob, there is only one release per version of Fedora. There will very likely be respins available at http://torrent.fedoraunity.org/ but those would be to include the latest package versions and may not address your problem. You may need to post at Bugzilla: http://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/ and add your comments if the problem is already known. The developers don't monitor our Forum.

Bob_Ross If you are not interested in getting help, why did you even bother on making this thread?

The attitude in your OP is less than desireable, plus you reported the only two replies you received as SPAM, not a good way to start in a community.

Since you dont want help and you will report any responce you get I think this thread will be closed...
