hi after years of holding Bill's hand and guiding me through every problem with windows (including manufacters who only make drivers for windows!) i've taken the plunge and gone for linux. But thats where Bill left me to fend for myself and now i'm stuck. the problem i have is installing on a raid0 configuration every distro i try won't load the grub because of the partition or it just fails to reconize the setup please help. i'm using an abit mobo with intel pentium D and sis chipset 661fx 964_180 raid
SiS fake-RAID isn't supported by the Linux dmraid driver included in Fedora and other distros, and SiS doesn't provide any RAID drivers either. You can't use the BIOS-based RAID on your motherboard with Linux.
