can't install f-spot via yum in fedora7

when i try
yum install f-spot
it displays
Setting up Install Process
Parsing package install arguments
Excluding Packages in global exclude list
Finished
Resolving Dependencies
--> Running transaction check
---> Package f-spot.i386 0:0.3.5-2.fc7 set to be updated
--> Processing Dependency: mono(gtkhtml-sharp) = 2.16.0.0 for package: f-spot
--> Finished Dependency Resolution
Error: Missing Dependency: mono(gtkhtml-sharp) = 2.16.0.0 is needed by package f-spot
what's the solution?

Sorry I can't solve your problem because I get the same message but I can give you an alternative. Digikam you can install it with yum.

I can't help either but I can report the same problem. It seems to be caused by a recent update which wouldn't apply with f-spot was installed (the update generated the same error message). I removed f-spot and installed the updates, and now have the same problem as you. These things are usually resolved in a couple of days so keep trying.

It seems to depend on the gtkhtml-sharp package which is not in the repository.

Mono Develop is also broken by this as it depends on gtkhtml-sharp for it's gui.

Same problem here,already have f-spot installed but cannot update because of "gtkhtml-sharp" so I just unselect that package and my update proceeds as expected without problems. It has been broken for almost a week now hopefully gets fixed soon.

I've had other packages do the same at one time or another and I recall "vlc" as being one of them.

Yeah~~
First I removed f-spot.
and then I could update gnome-sharp.
now I cannot install f-spot because of lack of gtkhtml-sharp.
it seems that gnome-sharp excluded gtkhtml-sharp recently.
previous one in my system was that of yum repos for fc6.
i wonder why they excluded gtkhtml-sharp.
is it a dead one?
anyway i will find a good alternative for f-spot.

Same thing here so I just exclude gnome-sharp from updating until f-spot gets updated.

Seems to be fixed now - yum update just installed gnome-sharp v2.16.0. Monodevelop works again (although still generates a non-fatal error on startup). F-spot should also be OK although I haven't tried it.
