Ssid

Has anyone got wireless working in Fedora 7 with an SSID that is NOT broadcast? Seems that if I hide my SSID I can't connect to the network.

Won't work using pam_keyring to automatically connect, but using NetworkManager and selecting "Connect to other wireless network" and inputing the info works....

Thanks for the reply iron mike. Maybe true, but not in my case. Just isn't happening. I changed it back to the way it was for now. I screwed with this for a couple hours last night. That's enough for now. The purpose of hiding the SSID was to try to increase my wireless range so that I could get a good signal in the back yard. I was reading some tips on doing just that on Netgear's web site.
