Random reboots...how to troubleshoot?

Hello folks,

While trying to get a wireless card up and running, I seem to have destabilized my system. It randomly reboots after anywhere from 5 to 30 minutes of operation.

I'm not sure how to start troubleshooting or where to find pertinent logs. Any pointers?

Isn't this more likely to be hardware than software? If there is no record of the shutdown in /var/log/messages, I would suspect hardware. Could something be overheating? Try a memory check with memtest.

yeah, i was just caught by something similar, it was bad memory in my case
