Why can Fedora Core 7 be hacked

What is this, a right of passage? I can't even use my linux box and learn because some idiot is hacking me, and interrupting the keyboard input.

Wtf am I supposed to do when I can't even use the computer for a minute without this faggot messing with my keyboard input.

Well, if someone IS interrupting your keyboard input--the proper word is "hacked" or "cracked" or jacked"--past tense usage of course.

Bob--someone---- close this one before I am tempted to come back again...please!
Geeze, what a field day this can present!

Bah I figured it out, the ssh was a "trusted" source on the firewall. It was a human, not the keyboard. that was the vibe I got.

Look, I normally just wear this stuff in this place but I've had enough of it. The preceding two posters have covered the Fedora issue but I want to raise another one.

I'm gay and I really, really object to people using terms like "faggot" and "gay" as terms of abuse and derision. Using offensive terms about other groups wouldn't be tolerated, profanity isn't tolerated here and I fail to see why this should be acceptable either.

It might seem like a minor issue to some people but it's a big deal to me and I'm sure the other gay members of this forum. It's not the first time this has happened here and it's been irritating me for a while. It makes this community seem unwelcoming and unfriendly. It's difficult to participate in a place under such circumstances.

I'm going to report this fellows comment. I'm hopeful that our Moderators/Community Managers will deal with this matter appropriately.

Edit: Typo

Agreed. We have nearly 100,000 members and diversity of every sort. Please refrain from using terms that are offensive and THINK a bit before posting. As this problem is 'solved', I'll close the thread.
