Smart Card Reader

I have a DataKey DKR400. It worked in windows xp and vista. I believe the driver that was used in windows was a gemplus driver. I installed the smart card manager, but when I open it, there is nothing to do besides exit or look at diagnostics, which just tells the software version and that no smart cards are detected. I dont know where to begin. thank you for your help.

I am running Fedora 7 on a Lenovo 3000 C200. if you need any other specs, please let me know.
