download a liveCD then. Try a small one like DSL (damn small linux). You'd be able to load it from a USB flash-drive, ipod, or other removable device if you have no burner to make a liveCD

do you need a clean drive or what? can't you just install whatever it is you want instead of F7 over it? The installation disk for whatever you're planning on installing, should have a disk manager that allows you to format the disk before installing a new OS.

You need to reset the MBR. Google is your friend.

heh, so you're asking why your windows XP installation CD isn't working on a linux forum....
Make sure your CD/DVD drive is set as the first to boot in the bios. I would also try disconnecting any unneeded hardware (ie. other hard drives). try the XP CD in another computer to make sure it's not busted or badly scratched and cannot be read. If you have an old win 98 CD laying around, try to use fdisk off of that. even an old 98 boot diskette would do, if you still use a 3.5" floppy drive.
I still say your best bet is to get a liveCD....it's handy to have around for times like this. Acutally, if i had to recommend a distro, i'd go with CentOS liveCD. That liveCD was awesome and i was able to recover a lot of files that were on a bad hard drive....even kbuntu is good. but if your rushed, download a smaller one like DSL.

I'm not asking how to install Windows XP on linux forum.. I'm just asking solution on how to uninstall Fedora 7. Also, I googled it, couldn't find it anywhere.. i'm not even going to bother to post in forum and having to register if I have found it on google

Whether you suck at anything is neither here nor there, you use your windows install disk to reset the MBR. As I said before, Google how to do it. I haven't used windows since 1994 so can't help with that.

You have to boot the Windows installation CD and let it repair your MBR.
