yum got "stuck" in error Transfer-Encoding: chunked

Hello everybody,
I was installing adobe flash-player 9 and obviously gave the error :
ERROR: Your architecture, \'x86_64\', is not supported by the
Adobe Flash Player installer.

OK..I should have checked it first.....but now it seems that created some sort of problem into yum, because since then everytime I try to use yum it gives back the following error :

for# yum install rpmdevtools
or for #sudo yum install compat-gcc-34 compat-gcc-34-c++

it reports allways the same error;
Loading "installonlyn" plugin

Open a terminal and run do this.
Code:
su
cd /etc/yum.repos.d
ls
In the list of files you should have something with adobe in it. So,
Code:
gedit filenamewithadobeinit.repo
Then change the line "enabled=1" to "enabled=0". Make sure to save the file.

Not really sure how you ended up with an adobe repository. Anyway, your problem is it can't seem to find what is basically an index of that repo. Changing enabled=1 to enabled=0 will just disable the repo.

thanks ..it seems to be working.
....another thing ....as I said before I did install nvidia drivers successefully in other 2 machines for kernel 3194 but not for 3228....but in this pc I cannot even reproduce the same installation for 3194 ...do you think it has to do with the fact that this GC is AGP instead of PCI....its the only difference between the other 2 machines!!
I'll appreciate your comments..thanks
