Hello:
If you follow the how-to here : Every Server Setup Imaginable: SMB, SSH, VPN, VNC, HTTPD (+ PHP), MySQL, More!
See the Section VNC
Then you should be fine.

I have read his install guide the problem I am trying to install vnc half a world away so I can not set it up the way he indicates (or at least I do not think I can).
I decided to try freenx but I get the error below any suggestions?
HTML Code:
NX> 203 NXSSH running with pid: 23859
NX> 285 Enabling check on switch command
NX> 285 Enabling skip of SSH config files
NX> 285 Setting the preferred NX options
NX> 200 Connected to address: xxx.xx.xxx.xx on port: 22
NX> 202 Authenticating user: nx
NX> 208 Using auth method: publickey
/usr/libexec/nx/nxloadconfig: line 270: strings: command not found
Killed by signal 15
I have GNOME and X setup
I have not yet configured firewall figured wait till after I get this set up.
