YUM problem

hey all,every time i use yum IN FEDORA 7 this line appears
Error: Cannot open/read repomd.xml file for repository: fedora
..why?
and plz help..

Try the command yum clean all and then try yum again.

Try it again and post all output you get. Also, type ls /etc/yum.repos.d and post that output.

Are you doing all this as your regular user or root?
