Usenet Binary Downloader

Does a binary Usenet downloader similar to NewsLeecher but is native to Linux exist?

I do not know Newsleecher but there is pan and Klibido for Linux.

pan does a very bad job with binaries. Still needs a LOT more work.
klibido is a good program, but its for kde.

You can run any kde app in gnome or any gnome app in kde. You just need to yum install and it will take care of the dependencies( I run klibido in gnome). The big problem with klibido is that it tends to flip out a couple times of year thinking that your storage drive is full. It is a known bug that has been around for a while.

The newer versions of pan are pretty good (I am running 0.131 now). I run klibido just because it is about 20% faster on downloads.

Another one you can try is ninan. Handles .nzb files and is very handy if you have a Newzbin account. Just add the report number to ninan it will auto download, including any necessary par2 files, auto repair and extract.

Just used YUM to install Klibido. It fits my needs perfectly.
