ip alternate routing tables

I'm using Fedora Core 6 and am having trouble creating routes in alternate routing tables.

I try to add an ipv6 route to an alternate routing table:
ip -6 route add 2202:3:2:1::/64 via ip6tnl1 table 220

When I then try to show the table via:
ip -6 route show table 220

Nothing appears in that table. But when I show table 0

ip -6 route show table 0

I see an entry for that route with table 220.

I've tried the same with IPv4 routes and am getting the same results.

Thanks
Brian
