Question How to change monitor refresh rate

Could anyone tell me how I can change my monitor's refresh rate? There's only a 50hz option in the Screen Resolution tab.

Huh. My monitor can go up to 75hz but Fedora will only allow me to set up to 50hz.

As I recall, I corrected mine through Administration>Display settings. Also I remember manually making some modifications before using gedit..... /etc/X11/xorg.conf

Cheers,

hmmm.....good point made by the last post. Check your display settings and see if it points to your specific monitor brand, and not just "generic"
