DHCPD Server packkage in F7 Source?

Hi all,

Please help me. i installed F7 three times but can not find dhcpd server installed on my computer.at last i open source iso of Fedora7 DVD i386. there is no dhcpd server unlike previous versions. how can i install it without downloading a new version from internet. has dhcpd server removed from F7.

there are only two packages of dhcp in F7 source. they are:

dhclient
dhcpv6client

now what i do?

It's not part of the default installation. Just do a
Code:
yum install dhcp
Note that the final 'd' has been dropped from the package name.

P.S. Do you actually mean the sources package ? Here's a link to download it

Is there some reason you cannot use "yum install dhcp" to get this after you have installed F7?

To answer your question I am not 100% sure if it is gone or not... I did not see it as an option anywhere in the GUI based install. I *did* see it listed as an option (I believe under Network Servers or Legacy Servers) when I tried a *text* based install from the F7 DVD, but even though I selected it, it wasn't installed. So it may have been removed, and the text-based install options not correctly updated.

Actually it is the fifth one with posting in other's threads also as I can see now. Please keep it in one place. You got a lot of answers to your first thread. Why then make new threads or posts elsewhere?
