Internet Connection Sharing, Desktop (F7,eth0) to Laptop (WinXP, Wireless)?

Alright, this doesn't really belong here, as it's not explicitly about Fedora. It is somewhat related, as I need to get my Fedora box online. Here's the layout of the network of where I am.

Stuff I can't control
[Internet -> Cable Modem -> Linksys Wireless Router]

Internet is hard wired to cable modem, cable modem is hard wired to wireless router. Wireless router's settings are default, however minimally secured. No encryption, but the default router's password has been changed. I don't believe I would need to change anything on this end, because connecting to the wireless router does work, if it didn't then I wouldn't be able to post this.

Stuff I can control
[WinXP Laptop -> Belkin Wireless Router -> Fedora 7 Desktop]

The WinXP Laptop connects to the Linksys Wireless Router through a netgear wireless pcmcia card. The Laptop is hard wired to the Belkin Router through a separate integrated ethernet port. And the Fedora Desktop is hard wired to the router on eth0.

I have been trying to get this Desktop online for quite some time, I have tried Internet Connection Sharing, and have not gotten any positive results. I have also tried creating a network bridge between the Local Area Connection and the Wireless Connection, however this resulted in my wireless connection being dropped completely . I know that the Fedora Desktop and the WinXP Laptop are networked together as I have been able to share files between the two, I just can't seem to get internet traffic to pass through.

Please please please help me troubleshoot this, my head hurts .

Nevermind, I got it fixed. The resolving point was that I had 'localhost.localdomain' in the HostName field on the DNS tab on the Network Configuration applet. That and my DNS search path had some garbage in there and once I cleared those fields, everything worked as it was supposed to.

/win.
