remove a word from aspell dictionary

i'm using ispell for spell checking my tex files, but i wrongly added a misspelled word
does someone know how to remove that from the aspell database?

i've found the misspelled word inside ~/.aspell.de.pws
- is it enough to delete it manually from there, or is there a better way to do this?
