its not permissions... you are simply missing the files it is looking for

install the libs and rerun the installer

Hello:
If you are using Fedora, then use

yum whatprovides missinglibrary

and it will show you which packages provide the library
For example:
#
PHP Code:
yum whatprovides libdl.so.2
Loading
"installonlyn" plugin

glibc
.i686                               2.6-3                  fedora
Matched from
:
libdl.so.2

glibc
.i386                               2.6-3                  fedora
Matched from
:
libdl.so.2

glibc
.i686                               2.6-3                  installed
Matched from
:
Provides-matchlibdl.so.2
Then install the missing package.

Yum says that everything is installed.... and they are all based out of glibc.i686 or 386 but it still says I need the libraries, note that Contribute 3 is made for Fedora Core 2 support so I should need some sort of legacy software support huh?

The problem is not missing packages.

Adobe's Contribute CS3 uses an old version of Zero G's Install Anywhere software, and this has problems with recent versions of Fedora.

There is a discussion thread on the Zero G Community Forums which helped me solve my installation of Contribute CS3 issues on Fedora. Please see the thread here http://community.zerog.com/cgi-bin/i...and+core+and+5
