Taking the plunge

this afternoon after class i'm going to install fedora dual boot with xp. Now do i create the new partition using partition magic and then format the the /, /home, and swap using the fedora install disk? and if so what structure do i format the partition to with partition magic.

Don't create any partitions in Partition Magic, only resize the Windows partition to create unpartitioned space for Linux installation. The Fedora installer takes care of creating and formatting Linux partitions.
