FC7 - Only DVD.ISO released - ?CDs?

Hello,

Last thursday 31/05/07, as far as I remember, I saw the checksums for the 5 CDs of FC7 published on the site “http://fedoraproject.org”.
Does anybody know if it is envisaged to release FC7 on CDs?

Meanwhile, a track to be explored for those not having a DVD writter would be to download the "*dvd.iso" file and to respin the distribution and engrave it on CDs. Right?

Other tracks? (except installations via a local F/S, or the network).

Thanks for your help, HUBERT

Morning, Hubert.

The best way for those who do not have DVD functionality, is to download the LiveCD and install from there, then use Yum or Pirut to build up the system you want.

One can use the DVD iso file from a hard drive, I guess, but one needs to be able to boot into an installer before that. Can one do that using the live cd?

Yes. There is an "Install to hard drive" icon on the desktop in the liveCd. That will start Anaconda.
