thunderbird export

what the hell??? is there no way to export messages from thunderbird to kmail?

the thunderbird FAQ mentions that in your profile directory you can find mbox files named after the "inbox" "sent" 'trash", etc. however whenever i try to point kmail import app. to that directory, no files are listed. i even tried to copy them to desktop then point kmail to them....

why is this so difficult? F thunderbird.

any help would be much appreciated.
