Unhappy Email deleted by accidental POP3 connection

I usually use my fedora box as an IMAP server, which is a great system. I accidentally connected to it from an outlook client configured for POP3, though, which resulted in all my mail being downloaded and deleted on the server! One of the worst parts is that the recieved timestamps all became the download time, so they are all the same now!

Is there any way to reverse this mistake? I'm guessing there probably is not but I thought I'd just ask in case.

Thanks, Moses

By the way, I blocked the POP3 port so this will not happen again. And, oh yes, I know I should be backing up my mail files. It's been years now and I still never get around to it, so I'm basically begging for things like this to happen.
