Problem with installation pidgin

Hi all, i try to install pidgin and have this eror?!@$@!
can enybody help?
i use fedore core 6
dave.

[root@localhost Downlads]# rpm -ivh pidgin-2.0.0-0.beta7.fc6.i386.rpm

i do this next:
downloaded the pidgin.repo

and do this:

[root@localhost Downlads]# yum install pidgin-2.0.0-0.1.fc6.i386.rpmLoading "installonlyn" plugin

Trying other mirror.

everythink ok, i download the file from google and install and do yum install again and it works

Hey,
Could you please tell me the exact steps.
I am also getting the same error as

Downloading Packages:
(1/1): libpurple-2.2.0-0. 100% |=========================| 3.2 MB 09:40
http://rpm.pidgin.im/fedora/6/i386/l....fc6.i386.rpm: [Errno 4] Socket Error: timed out
Trying other mirror.

You have mentioned, you downloaded it again from google ( what is the URL)
I downloaded pidgin from http://pidgin.im

Please Help.
