can't access website on my server

hey guys.. i donno why this is sooo weird.
untill yesterday.. i made some settings on my fedora 6 serverm because i could only access the websites locally.
I am using a netgear router, i did open the port for the server: the server has ip 192.168.1.100 so i went to port forwarding and opened the http port 80 for the the server's ip.

i also have installed the ISPConfig
now.. i donno what the problem is but.. on the server.. i can access the default index.html file under www/html/ , but i can't access anymore any other websites.

i created one with ISPConfig but it won't load. it stays there and trying to load the page and then it says
The connection has timed out
The server at www.abcd.selfip.com is taking too long to respond.

and i can't figure out what's wrong. the server responds to pings from my other computers..

any ideeas??
thanks alot

Silly question, but I ask just to make sure - have you added port 80 to the accepted ports in the Firewall configuration?

“nmap” reports closed port 80 like, in the www.abcd.selfip.com server

You ISP probably blocks port 80 then - Try an alternative port such as 8080, 443 (HTTPS) or 8000
