Well if you like bittorrrent

http://torrent.fedoraproject.org/

or for a standard download

http://fedora.ifc.unam.mx/fedora/6/x86_64/iso/

or for more mirrors where you can also get FC

http://rhold.fedoraproject.org/Download/mirrors.html

P.S you only need the first two cd's for a default install ( CD1 & CD2 )

Fausto: You do realize that you should check the sha1sum of the downloaded ISO file before burning it, and that if the sha1sum is good, that basically guarantees that the download is good and you don't need to download it again?

this linux stuff sucks. I cant wait till I get enough money to buy Windows vista. The only reason anyone would use Linux is because they were too poor to buy a real os.

good idea to check the sha1sum before attempting another download.

you should have a SHA1SUM file with the downloaded images, if not get it from here (for x64_86)

put it in the same directory as the iso images and run this

Code:
sha1sum -c SHA1SUM
EDIT
sha1sum for windows

Hi JN,

Fausto hasn't complained once in all his previous posts about going back to windows and seems determined to get Linux to work.

Leigh

P.S Linux is great and windoze sucks big time
