Question Realtek RTL8101 won't pull up internet

Let me rephrase that..I just woke up from nodding out waiting on this old cow,... I have a new Toshiba laptop with a Realtek RTL8101 ethernet card, but it isn't recognized by FC6 even when I upgrade the kernel (I updated the kernel on my old desktop and it's not there either) and I can't seem to find the appropriate driver on Realtek site to port it over to FC6 or whatever the words I'm looking for there.. So... I have FC6 working just fine, but can't update anything on it because I only have the 3 CD's.. maybe I need to DL the BT and burn the whole thing to a DVD then try because I only have a minimal graphical installation on the laptop for now.
Anyway, I have tried wireless and hard wire with the laptop and nodda. It works fine with Vista (YUCKPOO) but I get nothing with FC6. The installation went as smooth as smooth could get, but as far as internet access..it's like trying to dial in with a pencil eraser.. It just doesn't get it.. Neither do I...
Any suggestions? Ideas? Comments?

Thanks
Nitram

Take a look at these two links.

http://gentoo-wiki.com/HARDWARE_RTL8168
http://www.linuxforums.org/forum/red...work-card.html

According to this
http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/...etDown=false#2
the linux driver is in the kernel strarting from 12/03/2007, so if you use a kernel builded after this date you should be fine.

Freshrpms provides a dkms-r1000 package that should support your card.
