SATA 2 Hard Drive Problems

Hi,
I just purchased a brand new machine and install FC6 on it. However, I found the following error recurring in /var/log/messages:

The hard drive is brand new and I checked it using smartctl and it indicated that there were no errors. I googled and found that some suggested using either the nosmp boot option (if you have a dual-core machine) or the noapic option. I tried both and then each one separately on the kernels - 2.6.20-1.2944.fc6 and the default 2.6.18-1.2798.fc6 but the issue still remains. Any ideas? The output of lspci is below:
