How to ensure that videos on Firefox are played in VLC and not Totem

Hi.
I Want to watch videos (file format =mms) in Firefox.
But firefox is using Totem, how to change, that Firefox use VLC as default player for internet videos?

Also there is no mozilla-plugin-vlc, and vlc-plugin, so yum -y install mozilla-plugin-vlc does not find anything.

Im using FC6 x86 version and feeling stupid that videos are not played by default.
thanks.
m.
