Failure to launch Firefox

Hi all,

Here is what happened

/usr/lib/firefox-1.5.0.10/firefox
Launching a SCIM daemon with Socket FrontEnd...
Loading simple Config module ...
Creating backend ...
Loading socket FrontEnd module ...
Starting SCIM as daemon ...
GTK IM Module SCIM: Cannot connect to Panel!

a pop-up window:
Firefox update
Compatibility Updates:

Checking for compatibility updates for Extensions

...
This lasts forever!

Since I had trouble to launch Firefox 2.0 so I wish this 1.5 for FC-6 works better.

Of course not.

open a terminal and try this
yum install seamonkey

Another mozilla browser.
I am running FC7 test3.
