minimized animations

For some reason this bugs me, but when I hit minimze i hate the animation where you can see the window minimze to the taskbar. Anyway, I installed beryl, and i unchecked every animation option available but that doesnt do it. Infact.... none of the changes seem to be taking affect that I check or uncheck in beryl. No idea whats going and why nothing takes affect. Anyone have a idea?

Thanks
