Time Not displayed correctly

The system clock is being displayed incorrect on Fedora 6 but when i change the time ucc if not mistaking from the properties it will be ok. When I boot to my windows xp sp2 the time will have been changed and displayed incorrect. This never happen when I boot twice or more times on windows xp only when i boot on linux.

Try right-clicking on the time and Synchronize with a nearby server. This will add a second or two to your boot but you should be accurate afterwards.

That is strange. Linux isn't adjusting your clock in the bios, so I don't know how it could be affecting XP directly. Just curious though; is your Bios time correct? Perhaps XP tries to check it's previous boot setting, fails due to the linux boot, and then goes to the bios for a backup? That's just a guess. I'm sure someone will jump in with a better idea.

I have bboted up using Fedora 6. Before I checked the bios time and it was corect. I booted up into Fedora and found the time was two ours in andvanced I whento to preference by right click on the time and selected : use utc. Clicked ok and time was being displayed correctly. after some time I looked at the watch and it was 5:30 about two hour behind. I right clicked the watch prefeences and unchecked use utc and time was being shown correctly once again.
