Case stickers?
I was wondering if anyone knew a place or way that I could create my own case stickers - eg, the "Designed for Windows" ones. I'd really like to have a bubble F with a "Designed for Fedora"

Yeah Firewing. Someone in here had a bunch made in England. He was looking for people who might want to go in on another batch. This was well over 6 months, maybe even a year ago. He posted a pic and the badge was beautiful. Maybe you can find that thread?

Evening, FIrewing1,
As I recall there was a company on the Web making those. Might have been cafe press, but I don't remember the details. (I've slept since then!) But I did see them. In fact, I think one said, "Powered by Fedora." and was cut just right to go into the sticker slot on your tower. I'll keep it in the back of my mind, and if I run across it again, I'll post it here. I've got the ones from my store bought RH9 plastered on the front of my tower. "Powered by Redhat Linux"

You can always grab the design from gnome-look, just search for Fedora. Then have it printed at one of the trade centers or a flea market, their pricing is usually very reasonable. Auto customizing centers sometimes do it also.

Hmmm.
They're basically just printed crack n' peel. Any print shop could do it.
But unless you want several tens of thousands of them, that's not really economical.

Several (8-9) years ago I bought 10 case badges for $5, they were blue and had Tux on them. They are really nice, and I still have one on my 2nd PC. Unfortunately, the ones I wasn't using I gave away to friends, so I don't have any left. Though I found an old Corel Linux boxed set at a Borders Outlet a couple years ago for $3.99 which included a 3.5" tall foam rubber Tux penguin and a Tux case badge with white background (and WordPerfect 8.1 for Linux!). I've got that case badge on my main PC right now.

Re: Case stickers?
Soooo... sorry to bring up an old thread but I was looking around for a Fedora case badge and it looks like the only place I can find one is in the UK (possibly the one being referred to in this thread). I was wondering if anyone knew of anywhere in the US that might sell them seeing as how shipping would probably be impractical from overseas.

Re: Case stickers?
Have you checked thinkgeek? They still have the stickers. And, if you're really desperate, all you need is an image, gLables and some Avery Labels of the right size.

At OSCON last summer I was manning a booth for our local LUG and three or four booths down was Fedora. One of the nice gentlemen there gave me a neat Fedora sticker for my computer.
I assume that everything at that booth was supplied by Fedora. So they exist somewhere in Fedora land.
