vsftpd not authenticating properly...

I recently upgraded FC4 to FC6 and removed ProFTPD and installed VSFTPD-2.0.5...For some reason it is not authenticating properly though....I built this from source and know that PAM support was included.

Since you built from source, did you get this from vsftpd.beast.org?

Can you try the vsftpd from fedora first and see if it works first?

Actually, I fixed it the other day. On my home FC6 server, I have to have the vsftpd file in pam.d named vsftpd, but at work it has to be named ftp...it's the same version, downloaded from the same source...makes no sense...anyway, it's up and running now...thanks though!
