Extra Repos

Hey guys
I just switched over from ubuntu to fedora core 6. I am just trying to get used to yum and it should be noted i'm not all that proficient with linux as it is. Just wondering how i can enable extra repos.

Cheers
Sven

'Extras' should be set up automatically with FC-6, although it's being combined with 'core' in Fedora7 and beyond. I think that what you might be asking for is a third-party repository, which will help with those non-free packages that we sometimes need. You can click on the 'Fedora FAQ' link above for setting things up.

Apart from the regular Fedora repos (Core & Extras), I have Livna enabled... It works fine for me, I have all the goodies needed. I read that having various 3rd party repos enabled at the same time creates conflicts, so I stick to Livna only...

I am on FC6, i386, and right now I am on Enlightenment
