Hi,

Anybody knows if I can do a remote desktop connection to an XP machine from a fedora core 6 without installing any software on the XP machine?

As long as the XP box is XP pro. XP home does not come with terminal server, only the terminal services client (ie you can connect from XP home to XP pro, but not XP pro to XP home).

Personally, I like to use VNC
