yum install chkconfig

I am trying to install chkconfig so that i can setup up bind to start when i start computer but i get this

Loading "installonlyn" plugin
Setting up Install Process
Setting up repositories
core [1/3]
updates [2/3]
extras [3/3]
Reading repository metadata in from local files
Parsing package install arguments
Nothing to do

Anyone give me a hand?

Also wondering when searching things is there any nicer way with yum that i do not have to get that big description? I have no GUI so can not use Synamtec.

rpm -qa | grep chkconf

Firstboot requires chkconfig, as does iputils. It's installed, you just aren't finding it in your path.

ls -l /sbin/chkconfig

Second clue "Nothing to do" means it's already installed, it would say "no match for chkconfig" if it didn't exist in the repos.

Thats silly when i am root /sbin/chkconfig is not in the path.
