Hello Wayne:
He's just talking up the stock price ...... he will keep doing this until it doesn't work and then he will come up with another angle.
The annual rant ..... the real one will be at the end of the 1st and 2cnd quarter when they have revenue issues.
They have a monopoly and they still have to threaten ... sheesh

Seve

Seve, congrats on your 4900th post. That's impressive.

As always microsoft is at it. I do find it interesting that microsoft has already sold half of their coupons for open source software. And this deal with the devil isn't even that old. Maybe that's frightening them into making more unbacked threats. The beauty of open source is that there isn't any secrets. The code is all there and if there was any patent infringements I'm positive we would have already seen some lawsuits.

The time is inversely proportional to the amount of money they have. I wouldn't hold your breath for it.

What do you expect from a beta that needs 4Gb of memory to run effectively

Evening, Wayne, and congrats Seve,

Seve, I think you've got the right take on it. Methinks Microsoft is in deep, deep trouble. And ol' Balmy Balmer knows it.

So, as the saying goes, "The best revenge is living well." Let us just keep on, keepin' on.

Hey Dan,

Well, people aren't jumping on the vista bandwagon like they expected them to, so what do they do?

Blame software pirates
Blame Linux

Blame everyone except themselves for rushing out a half-baked blatant rip-off of OS X before it was ready just to beat Leopard to market.

Stands to reason it's everyone's fault but M$'
