FC6 Mail server setup

Hi All,
I am trying to setup a mail server at home. There are few question would like to have advice.
1) If setup a mail server, do I need to setup DNS server with MX record?
2) Kindly to have a step of how to setup a mail server or any document regarding this?
Thanks in advance.
Derek

You will need an IP address that points to your server, you can either get a static IP from your service provider or use a dynamic IP service such as DYNDNS (dyndns.org). Then visit this site for all the info you will need on all things linux including mail servers.

Be advised that a mail server is not a toy and that many ISP's block port 25 because a badly configured server is a spammers / hackers dream.
