Desktop Effects and ATI FGLRX

I have fglrx drivers installed for my radeon x1300 and have them set as the default drivers, but for some reason I cannnot get desktop effects to work. This is probably a common problem but I can't seem to find a solution. Any help?

My Xorg.conf file is below:

You need to install Xgl to get desktop effects with the fglrx driver

Alternatively, use the fedora 'radeon' driver which has less performance but works with AIGLX

you will need to add this to the end of your xorg.conf

Quote:
Section "ServerFlags"
Option "AIGLX" "off"
EndSection

On step 3 of installing xgl, I get this error:

Error Downloading Packages:
fedora-xgl-settings - 0.0.1-2.noarch: failure: fedora-xgl-settings-0.0.1-2.noarch.rpm from fedora-xgl: [Errno 256] No more mirrors to try.

Anybody know what to do? Thanks.

Does anybody have a copy of "fedora-xgl-settings-0.0.1-2.noarch.rpm" for i686 (or i386)? because yum is not finding it.
