usb 1-4: device descriptor read/64

Hi,
I am a Fedora 6 user.
At the boot up, I get the following error messages:

Code:
usb 1-4: device descriptor read/64 error -62
usb 1-4: device not accepting address
Only usb devices connected are mouse and printer. Both of these work perfectly. Another usb device I attach from time to time is ipod. Since I got the above error message, the computer cannot detect the ipod anymore.

Can anybody help?
Thanks.

Hello:
No idea ?
However, just a few suggestions.
Check your BIOS settings with regard to the USB configuration.
Try connecting your mouse and or printer to different ports.
And see if any of this corrects the error problem.
Also you may want to check your settings under
System/Preferences/Removable Drives and Media/
If it clears up and you can connect your ipod make sure you un-mount it before physically disconnect it.

Thanks for your help, Seve(and also for the other post of mine).
However, what do you mean by "(System/Preferences/Removable...) if it clears up"? I checked it out and to me, everything seemed to be configured the way it should be. It's quite late now, I should get to bed. After I shut down the computer, I will connect the usb cords to different ports and will see if it solves the problem tomorrow morning when I boot up the computer.
