Netgear WG311v3 - ndiswrapper

Hi,
Using the above mentionned WiFi card on FC6, I am asking why, when I'am trying to use this command :
ndiswrapper -m
the alias in modprobe.conf is not created, even if I get this answer :
modprobe config already contains alias directive

modprobe config already contains alias directive

modprobe config already contains alias directive

However I get this :
wg311v3 driver installed, hardware (11AB:1FAB) present (alternate driver: ndiswrapper)
when I use the ndiswrapper -l command,
I am not able make it working since I experience this "alias" issue.

Anybody has an idea ?

just add the line 'alias wlan0 ndiswrapper' to /etc/modprobe.conf using any editor.

and also type
Code:
depmod -a
modprobe ndiswrapper
Then you should be able to configure your card in system-config-network by adding new device ndiswrapper (wlan0)

same error than before:

Error for wireless request "Set Encode" (8B2A) :
SET failed on device wlan0 ; Invalid argument.

I think i seem to be having similar problems same card using FC6 2.6.19-1.2895.fc6, i had all the alias stuff there and it was working after i turned the encryption off on the access point but when i restarted it wouldn't connect, it sees the access point using the command iwlist wlan0 scan but still won't let me connect.
any ideas? I'm fairly new to this having only messed round with Linux a lil but in the past but now due to Uni requirements i need to get into it full time.
