ies4linux broken download, how to remove??

need to remove and start over, but I cant find these downloads in the filesystem!

Welcome, root! I'm IEs4Linux.
I can install IE 6, 5.5 and 5.0 for you easily and quickly.
You are just four 'enter's away from your IEs.

I'll ask you some questions now. Just answer y or n (default answer is the bold one)

IE 6 will be installed automatically.
Do you want to install IE 5.5 SP2 too? [ y / n ] n

And do you want to install IE 5.01 SP2? [ y / n ] n

IEs can be installed using one of the following locales:
EN-US PT-BR DE FR ES IT NL SV JA KO NO
DA CN TW FI PL HU AR HE CS PT RU EL TR
Default is EN-US. Hit enter to keep it or choose a different one:

By default, I will install everything at /root/.ies4linux
I will also install Flash 9 plugin and create Desktop shortcuts.
Is that ok for you? (To configure advanced options type n) [ y / n ] y

All right! Let's start the installations...

try to set this up, and all it does is keep on finding the same ruined cabinet files from the first time ie4linux downloaded them. I assume they are somewhere, but I dont know where they are hidden.

How come the linux file browser can not see into this folder and find all the folders?
Are these hidden?

any file with a . at the beginning is hidden

They are hidden files in the root folder /root
you will need to "show hidden files" in "veiw" on you file browser to view them

/root/.ies4linux/downloads/ie6/EN-US/

You dont need to install as su - ,In fact it would be better to install as su so the files are installed in your home folder.

I decided I dont like wine and windows on linux.
I also cant use yum anymore and this only happened after installing wine and ie.
SO, I am restoring my fedors partition with norton ghost 9, which I have faithfully kep up with backups.
I must have restored this partition about 5 times now due to unexpected problems with configurations of downloaded programs messing up fedora.
It is very nice to simply roll back to a previous partition and get rid of what does not work.
