Install Fedora Core 4 issue (Stop at process of "CD Found")

Hi!
I have a problem about installation of Fedora Core 4,
my computers were always crash when they were being process of "CD Found",

I have use the command: "linux acpi=off" or " linux pci=off ide1=0x180,0x386"
or "linux nofb" or "linux linux ide=nodma",
but they are not available.

Besides, Red Hat 7.3 can be installed successfully on these two computers,
and Red Hat 9 can be installed successfully on the computer 2,
It's confused me why old version can do but ner can not.

Could anyone give me a help? Thanks a lots!

plenty of RAM. Could it be a bad CD? Try cleaning it, make sure it's not scratched. Any reason you are trying to install FC4? You might want to try FC6 though considering your computers you might also think of a lighter distro such as zenwalk or PCLOS.
