FC6 DWL 520 Wireless Troubleshoot

Hi, Can someone please list the steps I need to have my DWL 520 wireless card working on Fedora Core 6. When I boot, the system can see the card but it fails to obtain the IP address despite that it's assigned in the Network configuration. I will be most grateful for any assistance.
