Setting Up Smart Relay Host with auth Sendmail

Hi,
I am using FC6.

Please some one guide me to set the smart relay host for sendmail with auth..

I want to use use my rediffmailpro.com smtp server to relay the emails from the system.

I have set the SMART HOST in as smtp.rediffmailpro.com .

the email is trigged by amandabackup@locahost.domain.com

I am sending the email to rajesh@finlogicindia.com . In this case i am getting user unknown in the var/log/maillog.

I think the smtp server is checking who is sending the email ..ctladdress

Please help me..

I had to create an authinfo.db file. I can't remember where I found the information though. Look at http://support.real-time.com/linux/e.../sendmail.html possibly. Basically my network provider requires all email to go through their servers and authenticate with them. You may have the same issue.
